Your Coach
I’m a Certified Personal Trainer, Run Coach, and Nutrition Coach with experience developing various training programs, including running, strength, muscle-growth, and weight-loss. I’ll give you the tools to reach your fitness goals, and work with you along the way to ensure your programming is executed with the utmost confidence. My line is always open, and I encourage my clients to check-in if they have any questions or just need that extra push. I’ll diligently write programming tailored to you, and I can do either in-person sessions or virtual sessions - whatever works best for your needs, schedule, and resources.
My Fitness Journey
I’ve always had a passion for running, weight lifting, and basketball, while trying my hand at various other activities to get in a solid workout. As a senior in high school I stopped playing basketball to focus on running. Setting new PRs in Cross Country and Track only further developed my love for the sport, and led me to the Club Running Team at UNC - Chapel Hill. There, I served as Vice President, organizing races and developing both running and strength workouts for the team. This programming netted me some killer PRs, my first marathon finish, and a better understanding of what it takes to be a strong runner.
After graduation, I focused on lifting weights, obsessing over the process by researching the exercises and techniques that were most effective for my body. On my own, I found a way to optimize my performance by striking the balance between strength training and mileage. Friends began consulting me on improving their fitness, and I was eager to give advice and, even more, to see their results. I knew their bodies and goals were different from my own, and I enjoyed creating personalized programs to see them improve at their own pace. I decided to become a personal trainer, and as I studied for the NASM-CPT exam, I found incredibly effective training methods that I utilize for my clients and for myself. Now, as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, I’m equipped to help people achieve their fitness goals, feel confident exercising, and enjoy their workouts. I aim to leverage the tools I’ve gained through this journey to help my clients achieve whatever they put their minds to.
